More About Us
Onirik Screen and Pad Printers are based in Maitland, we are in close proximity to all the major importers of corporate promotional gifts and clothing which makes transfer of goods between importer and printer fast and cost effective.
As printers we understand the need to supply a quality print and a competitive turnaround time without compromising either. We take care when handling customers’ goods ensuring it leaves our factory in the same condition it arrived. With the promotional gifting industry as tight as it is, it’s imperative to have a printer who will treat and respect your business and product as if it were their own.
We endeavour to meet all our clients deadlines no matter how ridiculous they may seem in order to get that job secured, done and delivered on time. Industry standard for print is generally 5-7 working days from the time of artwork approval, we do our utmost to have work out in 3-5 days from artwork approval without any surcharges for ‘rush jobs’. (Depending on quantity and the amount of print colours)
Why use Onirik?
We only use the best inks available to ensure the quality and durability of the print. We have a team of professional printers who have been selected because of their experience and expertise. With this, and added professional and friendly service we pride ourselves as being amongst the best promotional printers in the industry. Good old fashioned printing is what we do best. We are passionate about printing and it shows! With tried and tested methods and tricks of the trade passed down from owner to owner we are truly specialists in our field. We like to think that we go where no other printer has gone before. You have a problem? We can usually fix it.. and if we can't... we usually know who can.
Screen and Pad Printing.
(also called tampography) is a printing process that can transfer a 2-D image onto a 3-D object. This is accomplished using an indirect offset (gravure) printing process that involves an image being transferred from the cliché via a silicone pad onto a substrate. (Pad printing is used for printing on otherwise difficult to print on products in many industries including medical, automotive, promotional, apparel, and electronic objects, as well as appliances, sports equipment and toys). It can also be used to deposit functional materials such as conductive inks, adhesives, dyes and lubricants.
is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed.
